Amana AFF2534FE 24.8 cu. ft.

User 1: This is a beautiful unit but we have an undesirable experience and it has to do with the ice maker. Ice made from it has a bad odor when. We’ll be glad if anyone could helps us solve this problem. Apart from this issue, we consider this refrigerator to be a good buy.

User 2: Take note that I have used the Amana AFF2534FE refrigerator for just two month before this review. We bought this model because of the reviews we saw on a similar model. We love the ice maker and it works great for a 6-year old daughter who can now get ice cubes for herself easily. This is important for folks who want an ice maker that can be easily reached by kids. We were concerned about her falling into the freezer drawer but that won’t be the case with this unit.

It has lots of room and is both easy to adjust and clean — You can easily slide out the glass shelves and also adjust their heights. You can also store large bottles or juice cartons with ease in the pockets in each of the doors. I love this convenience. Here’s something you need to know about the shelves…

If you lower the top shelves on both sides in order to store juice and milk cartons then you won’t be able to store tall items in the lower shelves unless you remove one completely. Also, if you are NOT so tall, you might have a hard time seeing food items at the back of the to shelves.

All in all, this is a great unit and I recommend it.
